Daily bridge movements is any where from 2000 workers per day (8000 movements per day).
One of the additional requirements for this project was to carry two concrete pipes from the concrete batching plant to the building site. The requirement was dead weight of 2500kg each pipe having a thrust load of 10kN/m per concrete pipe line on a bridge 20m long over traffic.
We turned to our design team to find a solution for the above requirement and our engineering team designed a SuperBridge to support the two concrete pipes as required by the builder including encasing the concrete pipes at the base of the bridge with two cubic metres of concrete to stop movement of the bridge due to the 10kN/m thrust in the concrete pipes.
